The First FSRC Seminar in Period 8 Period 8 is a down-to-earth period when quality of a product is much more important than marketing. Feng Shui Research Center had its first seminar in Period 8 in Sydney on February 7-11. All participants including the 32 students, my wife Teresa and myself totally enjoyed the atmosphere and satisfaction. By explaining and clarifying the reasons and rational, this makes the teachings more readily accepted and understood. I also appreciate Master Yu's great wisdom and patience as a teacher. Theresa Ho Business Feng Shui Seminar 7-11 Feb 2004 I have found this seminar to be both inspiring to my further practice of Feng Shui because I now feel better equipped to deal with a consultation more comprehensively and authentically, and, a relief to me personally because many previously unanswered queries and doubts that I have had are now resolved. I very much appreciate Master Yu's down to earth, rational, grounded approach. It makes very good sense to me. As far as the conference room goes - I find being into an environment without fresh air quite tiring. The soft dimly lit room created a soft atmosphere which has been quite unique. Fellow students were very considerate, helpful and friendly and co-operative which has also another reason why I have found the last 5 days very satisfying and enjoyable. I felt first day was full of useful information and second day not so good. I would have preferred examples used to be of current period so that remedies applied would be better understood in application. I would have preferred more examples of business charts analyzed and more time spent discussing application. I appreciated the detail of most discussions. I least appreciated hearing about old Masters mistake and the Period 4 chart. It seemed to take more time and example of ancient china irrelevant. It seems every master teaching uses this chart and delights in pointing out the mistakes. I would prefer a modern example of a period 7 business and how to update to period eight. I found some discussion of questions from students to be off topic and wished they had been cut short. All in all, I have great admiration for Joseph's teachings and am delighted with his depth of teachings compared to early days. I always learn and better yet how to think. Thank you for promoting and bringing Joseph out. approach, an awful lot is taught in a short time. You feel almost intimidated by the loads of thought that may be

Master Yu expanded on the concepts I learnt doing my higher diploma with him over the internet. The advanced theories,
especially the dynamic way the chi flows interact, enhanced the Feng Shui concepts I had already learnt to a level where
the qi flows came to life and had a fluid nature of their own. I found studying with Master Yu in person very beneficial.
The stories and examples used to explain the concepts were helpful and imaginative. All in all I have enjoyed my three days immensely
and feel that I have learnt so much that I can share with my clients. Master Yu's presentation flowed from the conceptual
to the contextual very well so that the principles being presented were very clear. Since I am a very visual person I found a
couple of areas, especially where Master Yu talked of creating bridges between two chi flows to create harmony, would have
benefited from more diagrams to explain the concepts. Of course for those people who are aural in nature this would not have
been an issue. If the presentation had focused on the eighth period
we are now in rather than the seventh period I feel it would have been more relevant to explain the influences that will come
into play for the next twenty years. All in all though these observations are minor and
did not detract from the excellence of the information imparted and the manner in which it was presented. I am looking forward to furthering my knowledge,
especially in the Four Pillars. If Master Yu presents this course in Australia next year, as I hope he does, I will be there! Dynamic Xuan Kong Feng Shui Please accept my personal thanks Master Yu for sharing

seminar I was brimming with knowledge, thinking how much more can I cram in. Over the next two days Master Yu took us on a journey
in the use of Feng Shui for business. The examples he used bought the concept of using Feng Shui in business to life. I was amazed
at the breadth of knowledge and the willingness with which Master Yu shared his knowledge with us, his students. It is a testament to his humility that Master Yu was able to
show how Masters in the past having used these principles has made mistakes. We all tend to put the Masters on a pedestal, it was
reaffirming to be shown that even Masters can make mistakes. More than this Master Yu's presentation enabled us to see why
the mistakes were made and how we could use the principles to help our clients. The other area I found enlightening was the increased knowledge
relating to the nature of stars and how even negative stars can be used to create positive outcomes. All in all the dynamic nature of
Feng Shui and the power it can generate for businesses was a powerful concept; one I look forward to sharing with my clients. Business Feng Shui Julie Murdock Excellent overview of historic cases. Would
